This is a brief statement about writers everywhere.
Who Are the Creators?
What specifies someone as a creator? Is it merely someone that makes something from nothing but an idea planted in their mind? If this is the case we are all creators of many different realms of thinking. But those who wish to disagree find all of the reasons to disprove. For as you see, there are those who create and those who are creators. Those that create only make something from an idea and shape it into a form palpable by the human intellect. While a creator on the other hand takes an idea and makes an entire world from it. A world not only palpable, but can be sensed with emotion and senses. We are creators deep inside of us. All of us, to an extent, have created a world or an idea. Although many of us try to say that we have in fact become a creator. No, you have not become a creator merely by creating. To become a creator would put you toward a deity type status, no? We are all gods of our own realms that we have made and only we can shape them. Though other gods of literature have become far more than just gods but have become higher. They are creators. The ones that inspire us to do what we do. We all want to be creators. But we must all remind ourselves that to become a creator, we must first be someone that can create. So please remember that while you are writing your poetry or writing your first novel or your next novel, before you can be called a creator you must first be someone who can create. And if in this statement you have become lost or otherwise confused and are attempting to comprehend this thinking process, stop. For, you see, logic cannot really be placed where one does not wish there to be. But know that all of these statements are in fact true to their own words. To be someone that can create is to be a reader and a thinker, you see. To be a creator is to be someone that can write a world or anything into reality. So tell me now writers, and ask yourselves truthfully, are you a thinker jotting down words to satisfy yourself? Or are you truly a creator and make whole and people and places and realms appear from thin air in the consciousness of your mind? Think long on this, those of you that read this. Think upon this and realize your true intention behind your writing. Become creators. Become gods of literature.
