The Kobolds, in an Adventure with Mooncrabs

Recommend

(SFX: wind type noises, wooshy space like sounds)
Narrator: In the depths of space, there floats a ship. It's not a particularly big ship nor a small ship,or even a very shiny ship. But it was a home to it's fatally departed crew. Now it hangs listless, drifting in the great black-

Sausage (outraged): Oi, hold on a sec. Not all the crew are dead you know. We're still here!

Chips, Beans grumbles of assent

Narrator: Ah. The kobolds. Small furry creatures, doing jobs no man would do, aboard this good ship, the SS Frying Pan. Normally so easy to kill, now possibly too stupid to die?

Sausage: Look mate, cut that out would ya? Just cuz we're little! And furry. No need to bloody pick on us is there? It's alright for you, you-

Chips (Cutting in) 's alright sausage. Leave it be. We might be small-

Beans (Quietly):And furry.

Sausage (Quietly):And low hit points

Beans(Quietly): And not the sharpest spanner in the box.

Chips: But we still have a duty! We've got to get this ship home, and arguing with the fourth wall is not gonna help matters.

Sausage (Reluctantly): I suppose you're right. [grumbles]

Beans: Um, but Chips, how we gonna do that? The talk-over man was right, we's just janitors. We mops the floor, and cleans the tables and fluffs up the captain's pillow. But we don't know how to fly the ship.

Chips (Confidently): Oh don't worry about it Beans. I've watched the humans do it a couple of times and all they did was push at buttons, so it can't be that hard! I too can push buttons you know.

Beans: Uh, okay Chips, if you're sure...
