Unable to Face Those Around MeMature

Yet as we neared the campfire, I wanted to turn and run in the opposite direction. I found myself unable to face those around me. All I wanted to do was break down and have another good cry, but I couldn't, not with all those people around me.

So I turned and walked away from the campfire without saying a word. I couldn't face anyone. I just couldn't. I had to get away from people.
