The last part of family week was the rodeo, though Idina won't mind my saying that it wasn't much of a rodeo. But it was perfect, because Idina was in it.
All the girls who'd been having Family Week got to ride their horses around the arena (or whatever you call it - can't you tell I know nothing about horses?). Remuda Ranch used horses as part of their therapy, and now Idina was able to show off what she'd learned at the Ranch. It was all simple stuff (compared to what you'd usually see at a rodeo), but I was bursting with pride. I mean, come on! It was Idina out there! I was proud of practically everything Idina did.
And at that moment, nothing could have been better.
