If you've ever lived with an eating disordered family member, you know what I'm talking about when I say that you'd give ANYTHING just to have a calm in the storm.
After Idina left, as much as I loved my sister, it felt so good to know that the anorexia was out of our hands. We didn't have to deal with it anymore. It was all her responsibility now. Aside from writing letters and talking to Idina over the phone, I couldn't help her in any way. That was her job now.
And as much as I hate to admit it...it was nice to have a calm in the storm.
