Dear Diary ( or should I say blank computer screen),
It's one day before my birthday and I'm super stuck on a couple of things that I really wanted to get done before tomorrow. My solo novel is jammed at a point from where I have no clue where it should go. The characters have begun to curse me and whenever I click on the link to write a new chapter, the abuses cease for a minute or two, only to be hurled with even more intensity when I close the window with resignation etched on my face.
I am participating in a lot of collaborations with some spectacular writers and really having fun with it. From superheroes to the 19th century, from fairytales with a twist to personifying one of the seven sins, I am really enjoying playing different roles everyday.
I just hope that it doesn't get to be too much of a strain, and I have my fingers crossed. The most fun that I'm having currently on this fabulous site is with the Summer Prose Challenge initiated by the amazing Jack, our Captain. I have had the opportunity to read awesome entries from spectacular authors that I wouldn't have had the chance to meet otherwise.
So, dear screen, I just wanted to type in and tell you about what a fantastic time I am having on this site. My aspirations and dreams on this site are only to keep fighting off any sudden attacks of Writer's Block, getting rated and reviewed by my peers, and improving my comma usage in prose.
Talk to you later. Keep healthy and be virus-free!!!
