Silent Watcher

How old were you when you started writing? When did you start?

The first time I wrote anything creative was back when I was six years old. Since then I only did creative works that my school of the time wanted me to. By age 17 though I started to do quite a bit of creative writing, so much in fact that I realised that I was enjoying this. I have been hard at it ever since.

What was your first story, could we read it?

My first story was about Vampires and a town that was terrorised by them. Ironically enough it was plagiarized from a show called The Big Knights. I never got caught. Unfortunately you can’t read it as it got burnt…. Long story.

What are you working on right now?

Right now I am working on quite a few things, some of which I may post on here at some point. However the only thing that I am working on personally that is here on Protagonize is a (hopefully) novel named At Home With Jonothan. It is a story about a child who is involved in domestic abuse the story describes his escape. By any means possible. Have a look I need some constructive criticism on it.

I have also started a collaborative work entitled The Wandering Angel. It is about an angel that wanders the earth doing good in the strangest ways. However is he an angel? I’m not actually posting anything into that story, I have only done the first page. I want others to take it from there.

Where do you get inspiration?

Inspiration strikes at the strangest times and comes from the most unexpected sources. For example the inspiration for The wandering Angel came from a park bench. Nothing else.

For example. I see the URL bar and imagine a world where, where a person goes is not his choice. EVER. Somebody can play with that one, I don’t want it.

Unfortunately if I don’t write down these thoughts that strike me at a moment’s notice I will not be able to move on with my live until I have at least written it down. I cannot sleep, I cannot eat, I cannot even shower (As you can imagine I have offended quite a few noses over the years).

So that is my inspiration.

When is your favourite time to write?

At anytime, anywhere. Whenever a whim takes me. As a result I have written in some pretty strange places. Such as in the open air car of a fairground Ferris wheel (luckily my show bag was a good enough paperweight), or even ten thousand feet under the earth with a torch and notepad (More difficult than you might think).

Do you prefer collaborative works or Solo, do you like both?

I prefer solo. It is just easier on me, you know, less pressure. However I also do collaborative works, sometimes.

How did you find Protagonize, are you on any other popular writing sites (Booksie, smashwords, wattpad ect.)

I was looking up stories on the internet. I came across one that was here and I was so impressed with the quality of the story that I wanted to post a comment. Unfortunately you can’t do that unless you are a member so….

Anything else that you would like to share about yourself or your writing?

I am a very quiet person. So I see more than others. As a result my stories are very descriptive and shocking. I enjoy making stories that are like that.

This is because I know, for a person to want to do something about an issue they must become a direct part of that issue. The only way to get some people directly involved in an issue is to scare. Shock them into noticing an issue exists.

Think about Martin Luther King. He is the best example. Not until he was shot was the entire country of the United states of America willing to do anything about equality of rights.

Otherwise everyone, on both sides of the issue, would have just gone on and accepted such inequalities.

The only reason why I am even talking her is because I have no choice. A friend insists I write about myself here. He seems to think somebody would be interested.

The End
