Age: 16 (is it close enough to November for me to claim seventeen? no? darn!)
How old were you when you started writing? When did you start?
Aww, man. I was probably four or five (or whenever it was I first learned how to write). I've just always liked words. Even when my Ss and Rs were still backwards.
What was your first story, could we read it?
The first story I remember writing was about a girl and horses and boys and middle school, all written when I was in fourth and fifth grade. Eheheh, yeah, no you can't see it. For one thing, it was on my old dinosaur of a computer which is long dead. Thank goodness.
What are you working on right now?
I'm working on two novels right now - one I have posted here, called Waiting on the Sun, about a blind boy. The other is kind of on hold except for when I really feel like it because I was a little too emotionally involved. That one is called Paper Flowers, and I got to workshop it earlier this summer!
Where do you get inspiration?
Music, for the most part. And I watch people a lot.
When is your favourite time to write?
Whenever I can? I lean more towards the nighttime hours - say, 10:30 through 2am when I can? I also write at school because I can't just listen to a lecture. And because I get done with my work really early nine times out of ten.
Do you prefer collaborative works or solo, do you like both?
I am typically a lone wolf, in real life and with my writing. It probably comes from being the only child of a single parent. But I'm working on that! Baby steps - I'll start with some poem collabs :P
How did you find Protagonize, are you on any other popular writing sites (Booksie, smashwords, wattpad etc.)?
I originally found Protag a few years ago from an ad on facebook (I got locked out of that account somehow, then my email associated with that account, and had no way to recover :'( ). I also have accounts on Wattpad and Figment, but Protag is my love.
Anything else that you would like to share about yourself or your writing?
I stay up too late, I am addicted to caffeine, I listen to music all of the time, I take really challenging classes just for the fun of it. That's about all that's important :)
