How old were you when you started writing? When did you start?
I have been writing for as long as I can remember, but I didn't really start to get into creative writing until grade 8 or 9. My mom was an English teacher, and is now a librarian, so writing has always been part of my life.
What was your first story, could we read it?
Oh man, I don't remember. I've been writing for so long. Whatever it was, it's probably something I never ever want to read again.
What are you working on right now?
I'm in the "ideas" stage of two novels that I'm hoping to make a stab at at some point. One about fairy tales, and one about the myth of Icarus. Other than that, just intermittent poetry and snippets of things whenever I feel the need to write.
Where do you get inspiration?
Everywhere. I am inspired by living.
When is your favourite time to write?
Hmm. I often write at night, but I don't know that I have a "favourite" time, per say. I just write when I feel like writing.
Do you prefer colaborative works or Solo, do you like both?
I do mostly solo works, although I think I would like to try something collaborative eventually.
How did you find Protagonize, are you on any other popular writing sites (Booksie, smashwords, wattpad ect.)
I think I just searched "writing websites". I've been looking for a good creative writing community for a while.
Anything else that you would like to share about yourself or your writing?
My favourite authors are Neil Gaiman, Marcus Zusac, and Catherine Valente.
