How old were you when you started writing? When did you start?
Hard to say. I know that I made my mom write what I was thinking for some story and I drew the pictures. That had to be when I was four or five. After that I just started writing all kinds of things including a vampire series, Harry Potter Fanfiction, and poetry.
What was your first story, could we read it?
Haha, not sure anyone would want to. I actually completed my first novel (that I wrote myself) when I was twelve or thirteen and it was part of my vampire trilogy.
What are you working on right now?
A number of things. A lot of poetry. I'm still working on my main project, titled here as To Remain Upright, but that won't actually be the title. That's my main prose piece that I'm working on finishing and improving. Then there's also Death by Planet and hopefully some more collabs!
Where do you get inspiration?
A lot of it comes from personal feelings and experiences. Writing is kind of my outlet. I can really find inspiration anywhere though and I'm willing to write just about anything. I notice that when I'm outdoors, I find more inspiration. There's just something about nature that really causes my creative juices to flow. I also like picture prompts and other prompts as well, when I can't think of something specific to write.
When is your favourite time to write?
Probably at night or early morning. I'm one of those people that likes to do things when no one else is around (or awake for that matter). My absolute favorite times though are when I'm outside or when there's a thunderstorm.
Do you prefer colaborative works or Solo, do you like both?
I do a lot of solo pieces, but I definitely like collab. I enjoy both. You get a different experience writing collab than you do writing solo. You can learn different things with other people and make friends doing so. And a lot of times solo is just the way to go.
How did you find Protagonize, are you on any other popular writing sites (Booksie, smashwords, wattpad ect.)
A friend of mine mentioned the site and I was immediately intrigued. I've wanted a safe, reliable, friendly writing site to use so I can get some of my writing out there and receive feedback. It's really great. I'm not on any other writing site, but I do have a Tumblr. Once I get the hang of that, I'll start a blog probably on Blogspot or Wordpress.
Anything else that you would like to share about yourself or your writing?
I hope to be published one day. With that said, I'm just excited to be around so many talented writers that push me to be better and provide me with constructive criticism. It's great to find people that share the same passion as you do. I just feel honored and challenged and just excited about writing.
