Tears from a Jewel

LiquidDiamondTears.  More commonly simplified to LDT.

How old were you when you started writing? When did you start?

I've always written.  I finished my first novel (if you can really call it that) when I was 13; "Hybrid".

What was your first story, could we read it?

As mentioned above, my first story was "Hybrid".  No, no you cannot read it.  Because it's my first novel, I refuse to post it here (or anywhere else) until I'm completely satisfied with the final rewrite.

What are you working on right now?

Currently I am working on "Clever Lies and Charming Deceit" and "If I Die Young".  More novels are in the works.

Where do you get insparation?

Inspiration, for me, comes from everywhere.  The people I know, the music I listen to.  I believe anything can provide inspiration.

When is your favourite time to write?

My favorite time to write is in the evening or in the early morning.  Something about the sunrise/set, I guess.  Oh!  Also, any time after or during rain.  Gah!  I LOVE rain!

Do you prefer collaborative works or Solo, do you like both?

I prefer both for different reasons.  Collaborative because that provides a window into other authors and their writing styles; it allows me to expand in my own writing.  However, I do love solo works because I know I can rely on who's participating.  Since I'm sort of a control freak, I like to plan out a story to the last detail before I start, and some people don't have that patience to plan all that out.

How did you find Protagonize, are you on any other popular writing sites (Booksie, smashwords, wattpad ect.)

My friend a long, long time ago, told me about Protagonize.  She actually misspelled the website in a link, so I headed over to www.potagonize.com.  :) After a little searching, I found Protagonize and I can't imagine sharing my writing anywhere else.

Anything else that you would like to share about yourself or your writing?

I still have a lot to learn.  I love writing because for me, it is my escape from reality.  I do not believe you can be a good author if you hate reading.

The End
