How old were you when you started writing? When did you start?
Well I know I started writing as soon as I was able to write in the first place. It all began in probably Kindergarden where we wrote a lot of short stories about our lives and such, so I'd say I was 5 or 6 years old. Give or take.
What was your first story, could we read it?
Like I mentioned before, my first stories were all short and in school. The first actual book I made was a 40+ chapter book about a fake Sonic fanfic character I made up. If you really like terrible grammar and character development, and you beg me enough, I could post it on here. However, I am still proud to this day that I managed to fill a whole notebook up for a book. It taught me some patience and determination.
What are you working on right now?
I'm doing some collaborative work stories; Hosptial of the Dead (started by Colm) and Forgotten Attraction (started by Shally16), and that particular one has been in the works for quite some time, and coming along nicely. I am also doing a solo story called Last Week on Earth, and I plan to publish it once it is finished. It is more than 200 pages long and one of my most prized possessions and accomplishments.
Where do you get insparation?
I draw a lot of inspiration from personal life experience and real life scenarios, elements that make up a large chunk of LWoE. I also love music, especially the German industrial metal band Rammstein. Inspiratino comes from them too.
When is your favourite time to write?
For me, there's not a right time. There's just that moment when I feel like pulling up Microsoft Word and attacking the keyboard. You can't really tell when I'm going to start writing, since I fade in and fade out periodically.
Do you prefer colaborative works or Solo, do you like both?
Generally, I like Solo since collab work has a tendency to slow down due to poor participation. However, if you get the right people, collaborating can be a fun and learning experience.
How did you find Protagonize, are you on any other popular writing sites (Booksie, smashwords, wattpad ect.)
I googled for good writing websites after previous ones had failed, and it looked like this spot would be pretty good for me. It's rough, and I've considered leaving, but it's better than any alternative I could find.
Anything else that you would like to share about yourself or your writing?
I like to have characters that are nice and compassionate, but have an underlying darkness so that they are flawed in a way or have a personal trouble they must overcome. I also like stories with a main plot, but with multiple side-plots that the protagonist has to deal with in time.
FOR THOSE WHO DON'T GET MY USERNAME: There's this government agency in Left 4 Dead that does nothing to help against the infection, and their name is CEDA, and the survivors hate CEDA.
