Welcome, unfortunate reader, to the dusty, cluttered, deep ocean circus that is other wise known as, my brain. 

This is a place in me that is not always happy, but maybe sometimes even a little bit dark... and maybe even the tinniest bit twisted at times.

I must say it does get rather dull with no company up in here.  But I shall not just reveal all of my secrets just because, you my friend, are here.  No sir, you must be patient. Stroke the tiger until he purrs I always say. 

It really is wonderful that you just happened to come by though. Surely you didn't come here by choice? I'm pretty sure my acquaintance 'chance' brought you . That is a thought isn't it. ‘Chance' also known as ‘coincidence', 'luck', a 'fluke', or, of course there is a 'twist of fate' . I find it rather amusing that there are four different words just to mean one thing. 

But are there different words for the word ‘word'?... Indeed there is! Apparently, according to my trusty thesaurus, 'utterance', 'statement', 'sound', 'expression', 'speech', 'remark' and 'declaration' mean the word 'word'.  It is a rather funny thought. But I won't go into the word 'thought', just yet.

That's what this is though isn't it? A thought. A thought on a piece of paper (or a screen) that you sir, or indeed madam, are reading.  So does that mean your inside my head with me? Now that is a thought! If not a little scary for you. It's just enough that you don't have to live in here isn't it. 

Well, while I mull that over, feel free to let yourself out. Just mind yourself on the way, there is always a rather mischievous monkey waiting at the door. Pity it doesn't actually do anything of interest to entertain me, as one is trapped here till the day one dies.

There was not any inspiration for this, as such. But I usually lay awake at night thinking hard and ask myself questions. Sometimes even a random scene will pop into my head. This is those scraps home from now on. Quite ironically the title say's it all 'Scraps of Thought That Past My Mind'.

I hope you enjoy your visit as this is mostly my thoughts on random topics and of course, a sense of what actually goes on in the thing on top of my shoulders.
