• f i f t y - t w o • Exit Center Stage
There will be no encore,
No final curtain call,
I shall end it here and now,
In the center of this stage,
I will not exit through the wings,
Nor retire to the green room bar,
I shall sit and face you here for hours,
Until you finally come to realise,
I am show, I am human, I am emotion,
I never began, I never ended…
There is no final curtain call.
