They work all day,

They work all night,

Until one day,

One saw the light,

The sun shone down,

Upon his beaten back,

He looked to the sky,

Then back to the track,

He was ordered to tread,

Every day of his sad life,

He would never be normal,

Maybe never have a wife,

Or children,

Or anything he desires

May never be his,

He prayed deeply to God

To change this,

One day he would be freed,

But for now,

He wouldn’t be.

The End
