The Admiral Blues

a slave to the freedom I chose,

and Im miles from home.

the wind in my sails,

pulled me apart,

from the land I loved.

and now I send an S.O.S.

to the world above.

this is my only song.

I have no other tune.

this is my only hope.

I'm the waves pulled by the moon.

these are the admiral blues.

and if you want to sing,

you'd better be holding,

to a sinking ship.

and if you want to sing,

these admiral blues.

you'd better be sinking,

with the rest of your crew.

at the bottom of the sea I chose,

Still desperate to find home,

beyond this wreckage,

that  anchors me down,

from the surface I can't see.

and now I send an S.O.S.,

to anyone who hears me.

and if you want to sing,

these admiral blues.

you'd better be sinking,

with the rest of your crew.

and won't you believe me,

I tried to make it out, I swear.

but giving in was something i couldn't bear.

the storms ravaged my sails,

and the waves broke my oars.

and all night the seas, they roared.

And so here I am now.

there was nothing left I could do,

but accept the fact that I won't be coming home to you.

The End
