To my fellow shawty,
to my Mr. Cheese,
and to my dearest Nozomi,
Before I fill you all in on what’s been going on very recently, I just want to say that I love you all very much and that I will till the very end. We might lose touch here and there but you’re all in my thoughts constantly.
I honestly don’t know what I would do without you three…
That being said: here’s some juicy information.
Well, let’s actually start off with a question:
What exactly is culture?
Off the top of my head, I think culture consists of the tradition and habits that make the citizens of a country behave the way they do. I don’t have a dictionary at the moment to cross-check that but let’s say I’m right.
So you all know that I’m transferring schools again don’t you? What you don’t know is how important is to me and how…”different” this experience is going to be.
Whenever I transferred schools before, I would go to and international school so the environment is pretty much the same wherever I go (exception of my last school). There was not much to adapt to.
But now I’m going back to India and my hometown isn’t that developed. You can’t even consider it a city. It’s more of an…”improved village”. Hence, there aren’t any international schools and if I wanted to go to one, I’d have to be in boarding school (which you all know I very well don’t want to).
So instead, I’m going to a public high school here. Now let’s go back to the whole “culture” thing shall we?
