Shallow waters flood my mind

As I wonder if I was right to leave you behind.

You messed me up and tore me down,

I struggled to lift myself off the ground.

You were wrong and I was right

You lost,I won the fight.

And even through it all,

Even through the fall...

I doubted my decision to throw away

All of what we once had.

My mind became a labyrinth,

Couldn't find a way out,

But deep inside my darkest dreams

I found the answer I needed.

The answer was to end it

And save myself from you.
