Jon Fansite

Recommend

I always promised myself that I would someday sit down and try to capture the events of my life into some kind of autobiography, diary, or journal. Things have changed over the years, so now people keep their memories on Facebook, a blog, or some other kind of service. I’m not stranger to the Internet or social media, but I wanted to do something a little different.

I thought about making a movie about my life, but when I sat down and thought about it I realized that this would take a lot of effort, not to mention time, and money. Plus, who would help me? And, who would actually watch it?

So then I tried to think of an alternative. What is the best way to create excitement around the possibility of my life turned into a movie or a book, without actually taking the time to actually complete those kinds of projects?

Then it hit me: What about a Fansite? These are sites which have the benefit of being able to worship a specific person, book, TV show, or movie, without actually having to produce anything substantial. Perfect!

So, I’m happy to present to you the world’s first fan site devoted to the subject of . . me, written and maintained by . . .me.

Enjoy!
