Howling At The Moon

The Wolf sits at the cliff edge.

He howls.

His howl is not a calling to others for the hunt.

His howl is one of anguish.

The howl is being ripped right from his heart.

All of his being is poured into this howl.

This desperate plea for help.

He wants this to end.

He wants to jump from the cliff.

He wants to fly.

Wants to be an eagle.

Wants to soar over the treetops.

Wants to be free.

The Wolf sits at the cliff edge.

He howls.

A howl of anguish.

A plea for help.

No one hears…

The End
