For Everything I've Done

This is a poem about someone who has harassed someone to the point that they've killed themselves, and now, the bully sees what they've done. A lot of the time, songs involving bullying is from the victim's point of view, but I wanted to make one from the bully's.

For Everything I've Done

The knives I know,
have cut your skin.
They've bled you dry,
and have made my sin.
I still remember
all of the cold words I said to you.
But by the come of December,
they were the last things I ever spoke to you.

I'm sorry for the tears you've shed,
I'm sorry for the loneliness you felt.
I'm sorry for the laughs I had at you,
and I'm sorry I say this only now.
I'm sorry for all the things I've said,
I'm sorry for all those things I did.
I'm sorry for the hurt I've caused,
and I'm sorry it's too late to tell you now.

Oh, woh hooo,
hooooo...

I wonder now
how different things would be,
had I only known
all the pain you suffered silently.
Would you still breathe today,
had I not spoken so?
There are those who cry for you right now.
And I know
I know it's because of me.
There are no words,
no words to say...

It's too late
too late to tell you now....
It's too late
too late to tell you now...
It's too late
and too late for many others....

The End
