Words

Words  (27/7/2010)

Funny, how much we take simple words for granted
Little, do we ever think of the impact they can have
Sometimes its for the better
But usually the worst
It seems everyday
Hates growing stronger

Oh, And in one swift motion of the tongue
You can break the walls I build
And with one short sentence
Everything is frozen
As I try, Oh, try
To ignore the crushing weight

Cruel insults hit these four walls
Insensitive comments
At the time we don't always realise
what effect they have
How they sting the ears
We just sit there joking with our friends
All the while
Someone falls furthur down

Oh, And in one swift motion of the tongue
You can break the walls I build
And with one short sentence
Everything is frozen
As I try, Oh, try
To ignore the crushing weight

Oh, And in one swift motion of the tongue
We can undo anything
We never think about the impact
All we know
Is to hide behide the words
We take for granted

Oh, And in one swift motion of the tongue
You can break the walls I build
And with one short sentence
Everything is frozen
As I try, Oh, try
To ignore the crushing weight
As all four of my walls break down

The End
