Running Out Of Time

Running Out Of Time (7/10/2009)

You act like you know me, but tell me honestly
Do you think you could find my secret heart, buried deep inside?
Its in my instincts, I hide it well
If your someone who can love me, then it might be found

I don’t ask much of this world, just a little care
But it seems like trivial things like love and breathing air
Have become so poisonous, what happened to our society?
It fell down,
Oh we all fall down, as our building crumble
Our hearts shall break
We’re running out of time
Running out of time

So I hide my heart, ’cause this world is so dismissive
We ignore the feelings of other just so easily
Those who pay attention, they are so rare
We tell such lovely stories, but reality ruined them

I don’t ask much of this world, just a little care.
But it seems like trivial things like love and breathing air
Have become so poisonous, what happened to our society?
It fell down,
Oh we all fall down, as our building crumble
Our hearts shall break
We’re running out of time
Running out of time

Oh what’s the point of trying to love, trying to care?
When I know my mind is to cynical,
Where is the sense of breathing this air
When it only means destroying innocence.

I don’t ask much of this world, just a little care.
But it seems like trivial things like love and breathing air
Have become so poisonous, what happened to our society?
It fell down,
Oh we all fall down, as our building crumble
Our hearts shall break
We’re running out of time
Running out of time

Oh, as we live, as we breath, as we try to understand
Everything, anything, we lose all our grip
We lost our meaning so long ago
Oh we all fall down, as our building crumble
Our hearts shall break
We’re running out of time
Running out of time
Running out of time
To change.

The End
