Following the nuclear deal between world powers, known as P5+1, and Iranian regime, the unprecedented wave of executions in Iran continues. According to the reports compiled by Amnesty International and Human rights charity, Iranian regime has executed almost 700 prisoners in the first half of 2015.

While Repeal of Capital Punishment is acquiring acute escalating global support year after year and more countries are revising their national laws to omit execution, reports indicate that Iran has actually step up on executions.

Three prisoners were hanged in public in Golshahr, Karaj (near Tehran) on July 29. Youths in Karaj protested against regime’s brutal punishment of public execution by attacking assassins with hurling stones and clashing with them.

On the same day, Paridokht Molaifar, a 43-year-old mother, was executed in Karaj’s Ghezel Hesar Prison.

On July 27, eleven prisoners, between 25 to 35 years of age, were executed in Karaj’s Ghezel Hesar and Central prisons. Nine of them were collectively hanged in the Central Prison. The hanging of five prisoners, including a woman, in Kerman’s Shahab Prison; one prisoner in the Central Prison of Ardebil on July 30; four prisoners in Esfahan and one prisoner in Tabriz Prison on July 29; and six prisoners in prisons in Ilam, Central Prison of Zahedan, and prison of Bandar Abbas on July 25-26 were among other crimes of this regime in a week alone.

The objective of the mullahs’ regime, which the Iranian people call “the Godfather of ISIS”, by this rise in execution, is to intensify the atmosphere of terror and horror in order to contain the explosive conditions of Iran society and to control protests by youths and all walks of life that have turned into a nightmare for the clerical regime.

Nevertheless, here remains a question; How can high representative of European union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European foreign ministers turn a blind eye on this outrage human rights' violation and make trips to Iran, meeting with those responsible for 120,000 political executions and 700 executions in the past six months?

By this, aren't they encouraging further executions and violation of the values of democracy and human rights in Iran? Mere condemning the human rights violation in Iran is not enough, some action is needed?

In all case, something is unequivocal, the brave Iranian people, as we sought in city of Karaj on July 29, will up rise hand in hand against injustice, human rights violation, executions, torture and any kind of suppression and will throw mullahs' regime in trash can of history, and backing this regime lead to denigration of those, who are staying on the wrong side of history.  And that isn’t very far away.

The End
