This is it. The day of the protest. But the snow has rendered the protest impossible as all the schools have been closed. Clever in a stupid way. Close the school so nobody can truant. Its like giving a burglar your possessions so he can't steal them.
The protest has been moved to 12:00 and its a march from Nether Green to Sheffield University. Nobody will be doing that. The snow is at least 5cm deep and is continueing the fall. No wonder school was closed, we're on a salt shortage. The students who take buses (so nearly everyone) are stranded
