Properties Of The Blaze (II)

Cloaked in flaring sparks

And trailing tendrils of shifting flame,

The air around her is thick and suffocating.

Her body is composed of smoldering embers,

Stifled attempts at putting the wild fire out

Floating lopsidedly in glass jars around her head.

Her eyes are empty pits, burning, burning through.

And suddenly the heat's smothering you.
