I always felt Billy Joel's song should be continually updated from time to time to reflect the times in which we live, so using Billy's structure, I wrote my own version starting from the year of my birth.
There are 19 stanzas in the song, not including the chorus, so if you're at least nineteen years of age you can potentially rewrite the entire song, or if you're younger or just less inclined to do the whole thing (researching it can be a task, I know), why not try just a verse or two?
