Flames of the Phoenix: The Happy Dance

Chandelier by Sia

“I'm gonna fly like a bird through the night, feel my tears as they dry
I'm gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelier
But I'm holding on for dear life, won't look down, won't open my eyes”

So this probably is another weird choice, considering that its main underlying theme is alcoholism, but more so the idea of living ‘like tomorrow doesn’t exist.’ I’ve always liked the idea of wild celebration, of having no inhibitions. But, at the same time, I’m afraid of losing control. My ‘happy dances’ are always tainted with something along the lines of restraint. I won’t have to worry about an alcohol addiction, but my own fears.

The End
