Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles
Most thought provoking lyrics: Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name. Nobody came.
No one wants to be Eleanor Rigby. She picks up the rice leftover from a wedding. When I think of Eleanor as a person, I imagine she would have a lot of regrets. Maybe one day she wanted people to throw rice at her when she got married and lived happily ever after with her beloved. What happened to her to be left all alone? Were I Eleanor, I would have a lifetime of regrets. So I motivate myself using this song. Every time I am hesitant to do something, I think, "Do you want to be like Eleanor, regretting everything and living a miserable existence? Do you really want to spend the rest of your life wondering, What if?"
