Bed Day

Ugh. I've been sick all week. When I move around, I get a cough, I'm horribly congested and can't smell anything, and I have an occasional sneeze or two. And that sick feeling, you know, the yech-I-don't-want-to-do-anything's. But today's Sunday and guess what my mother told me last night...

Stay in bed all day Sunday.

And now starts the mystical ceremony of the Bed Day! In order to properly perform the Bed Day, I got up at 2:30 (don't call me lazy, I had four long nights in a row because of Junior County Band and I promise I worked myself to a skeleton each of those days.) and got my mother's laptop, which is where I'm making this post from, my iPod, my backpack full of homework and a good Stephen King thriller, a box of Entenmann's cookies, a mini bag of Martin's potato chips, a box of tissues, a bottle of water, a pen, a pencil, my cell phone, and some Post-It notes and brought all the stuff up into my bunk bed. Yes, I believe I am prepared.

The only thing I regret is not bringing up my television remote. And a big bag of Doritos which I considered bringing, but didn't.

I'm getting a little tired from the uncomfortable position I'm in right now, because I have the computer in the upper right corner of the bed because that's the only place I get wireless connection, and my legs are pinned down by my physical science book.

I just want to ask something before I finish this. Am I taking Bed Day to a whole different level of laziness?

I guess you could answer that in the comments or answer it to yourself without posting a comment or be a jerk and don't answer at all.
