A Three-Week Follow-Up from a Greatful Semi-Nobody
Good evening, my fellow authors:
I joined this community a little over three weeks ago, unsure of my direction and seemingly alone. In a vein of desperation and despair, I issued a rant voicing my concerns.
Three weeks later, I have decided to issue an update.
I was astonished that people took such quick notice, how instantaneous were offers of advice and assistance to a practical nobody.
A great deal has happened in a little over three weeks. I have reposted a beloved series with a great co-author. I have been featured. I have begun to really "learn the ropes." I have reconnected with more familiar faces, and have branched out to meet some other great writers native to this site.
My friends, I will not take up any more of your precious time. I have merely wanted to let you know that I have decided to stick around for a while, but more importantly to thank you all for your kind support and encouragement. If I was more able in my vocabulary I'd find some better way to thank you, but, alas, language can be a barrier in expressing deep sentiment.
Once again, I thank you all again.
