If you knew what life was About

If you knew what life was about

And you truly understood

How it all worked

You'd realise that not everyone could.

Maybe I know

Maybe I don't

Maybe I'll fix it

Maybe I won't.

Because knowing

As much as I do now

I know that in the night

No one will prowl.

If everyone knew

The meaning for life

Why never to bear arms

Or slice wrists with a knife.

Everyone would be sad

If they knew all these things

Because not everyone does know

Of the joys life brings.

Don't wish for the answers

For you will not recieve

Do not pretend you know

It's yourself you deceive.

You cannot give this gift out

It is something they have to work out on their own

For what I know must be lived

And cannot ever be shown.

The End
