Your Grand Plan

Life has a way of changing the game

we try to play

without fouling out along the way

Just when you’re completely settled and believe

in all your holier than thou metaphors

Life’s trumpets blow a tune youth has never heard before

and can’t imagine in their infancy

they have no choice, but to sway with the music played

Compassion for yourself

Compassion for others

All life has value

There is also goodness and the greatness of God

everyone departs

no one is immune

If you have a grand plan

for managing things with your inspiring perceptions

he he - you’re a silly fool

build your life for your family

and your God

and bugger the rest

you can’t control the world

You’re collective atoms are small and weak

and not meant to speak

of things that only God can know

and God controls

The End
