Thinking better of it, you decide to feel around in the dark a bit first...

You assume it'd be safer to not turn the light on right now, seeing as you have NO idea where the heck you are..

Slowly, you turn around and reach out with your left hand... feeling nothing, you move forward a bit, still reaching out. After a few steps, your hand meets resistance, and on instinct, you recoil. Whatever you just touched was soft and malleable, but you think twice about reaching out again.
