Jack was lying back in his bed, unable to take in all the events that had and soon would occur. Letting out a heavy sigh, he closed his eyes. He slowly replayed the scene at Castel Saint- Angelo in his mind, freeze framing it at the moment before he was knocked backwards. He still couldn't comprehend the fate that had befallen him. How could something this... this unusual happen?
"So basically, what you're saying is that there is in fact an evil conspiracy that go by the name 'The Wanderers' in Italian. They are a secret society that wishes to...eliminate all members of Luminoso Anima, that including anyone who gets in their way, and being the only heir of my family left, I have to join this other ancient group that's under close watch and will soon be bombarded with various attacks until they all die."
"And they're all omnipotent sorcerers," added Neil, examining the loose page.
"Yep, typical day in Rome." Jack said.
"Well, surprises await when you least expect th-- " he stopped.
"What? What's wrong?"
"This is odd," Neil paused. "I... I don't understand th..."
"What?! Tell me!"
"I can't read it..."
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"This page is in five different languages!"
"What do you mean?!"
"Just what I said! Italian, French, Latin, Egyptian Heiroglyphs and..." he tilted the page sideways. "I think it's... a code."
"What does it say?"
"I understand the Italian part in full, and only like, a quarter of the thing!"
"Anything else you can understand?!"
"I can't understand every single language in the world! What do you expect from me?!"
"What are you going to do then," pressed Jack.
"I don't know how, but I've got to do something!"
"Even with my Mac Book Air here, it'll take days, maybe weeks to figure this out."
"Then I guess you'll have to work fast."
"Okay. Since you seem so smart, do you know how to process this page onto the computer, in full, then transfer all five languages into 1s and 0s --computer language-- so that my laptop can understand it, then hack into the smartest person alive's mainframe without alerting their system firewall, breech the comprehension system that she invented, drag the information on how to rewire my hardrive to change the seemingly gibberish-like codes into English onto my own laptop by secretly breaking out of her system, transform the laguage into English, print the page, undo everything so as there won't be a trace of evidence left, break back into the mainframe, deposit the infomation so that it seems untouched, and again break out, only to return back to the Mac Book Air... in less than a week? Oh, and the smartest person alive, Marilyn Vos Savant, in American... and we're in Rome. So we're approximately... 2.990 kilometers away... and that's just the distance between Europe and America," Neil stared at Jack face. He was dumbfounded. Obviously satisfied with the result, Neil smirked. "I didn't think so."
"Hold on... what?"
