Wondercat
It was a day like any other for Wondercat. He got out of his bed with a heavy head and a large yawn, and trundled into the kitchen to make up a pot of coffee and heat some of last night's beef stroganoff. Just after he'd finally opened the days paper and taken a huge gulp of his steaming coffee a familiar BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! sound started off from the confines of his den. Drat! It's the Wonderalarm! Leaving his freshly made coffee and his only-just-heated up stroganoff to cool on the table he jumped to his feet and quickly put on his Wondercape and his Wondermask and jumped into his Catmobile.
As he flew to the coordinates sent to him on an electronic map he talked to the radio in his dashboard, "What is the problem this time, Roger?" he asked in a nonchalant and extravagently cool manner. "A woman down the south end of town sir," came the reply, "She appears to be stuck in the top floor of a burning building, sir!" "I'm on my way!" Wonder cat replied and set the Catmobile into full throttle at light-speed.
The woman who Roger had spoken of was indeed leaning out the window of a top storey burning building down the south end of town. "Thank God you're here, Wondercat!" said Police Officer Jones, walking over to him. "Just leave it to me, Officer," Wondercat replied with the air of one used to such situations, and he...
