Wishing On A Falling Starmature
"...I gotta tell you!" Ben belted out the song, swishing his long brown hair around as he continued dancing around the changing room. I sat and shook my head. Only Ben would be happy like this, in a city like this. Carlisle. Not far from the beautiful Lake District. Not like he would like where we were heading for tomorrows show...
"Mate, sit down and breath! I think your Farmville is dead." I said, going back to my guitar. Ben dived at the laptop that actually had a decent internet connection, and loaded facebook faster than a bullet out of a gun. I started to play Don't Stop Believin', and as if on cue Henry burst through the door, just in time for the chorus.
"Streetlight, people! Living just to find emotion!" He said with overly dramatic dancing to the song. I stopped playing and just looked at him, with the blankest look I could manage.
"Jordan!" Henry and Ben whined. I tried to keep a straight face, only to fail miserably. The puppy dog faces of two grown men made me laugh.
"Come on, we should get onto the bus. I could do with a nap..." When neither of them moved, I stood up and grabbed my bag, guitar and my mini amp. Heading out the door I heard them call for me to wait, which I pretended not to hear.
The red sofa of the tour bus awaited...
