All that separated them now was a good three meters or so of distance,and the prey expected nothing.Fortunately the grass was thick providing good cover for the fox.

One meter away now, and the chicken still had no clue of any danger,till it was to late.Leaping out with strength and speed the fox made his move.Glancing to the left was last and only move the chicken had got to make before his feathery neck was to be fataly chomped down apon.

Victory and glory for the fox.He gracefully draged his dinner away back to the tall grass or at least was on his way,before he was abruptly inturuped by a loud blasting noise.

The Grass seemed to explode up into the air as something hit the ground beside him.He turned to see a man with his killing stick pointing into his direction.
