Three days after the death of her husband, Hermione Weasley sat with her children Rose and Hugo in the church of Godric's Hollow. She was staring at the coffin which held her husband. She couldn't cry anymore, but her children certainly could. Rose hadn't stopped crying since her Uncle Harry Potter had come to fetch her and heer brother from school. At thirteen, she was extremely close to her father. His sudden death was harder for her than anyone could possibly believe. Rose was escorted out of the room by her Aunt Ginny. Harry came to sit next to her. Hugo stood up to see his father. Harry and Hermione looked at eachother. They had gone through so much together, but this was probably the worst expirience they had ever faced. Tears welled up in Hermione's eyes. Harry put his arm around her and held her hand while she cried into his shoulder.
After the funeral had finished, the coffin was brought outside to the cemetary ajoined to the church. Across from Harry's parents, a freshly dug grave was prepared to hold the coffin. It was lowered deeper and deeper into the earth as friends and family sobbed. The mound of dirt filled the empty hole and fresh grass immediatley grew ontop. Hermione approached the headstone:
