Laying in Quiora's arms, sated and content, was the happiest place I had been in a long time. After nearly seven hours of amazing love-making, by which I was totally exhausted, all I wanted to do was lay in his arms and relax. His soft breathing o the back of my neck contantly reminded me of how wonderful he truly was.
He kissed my shoulder and playfully nibbled my ear. "What are you thinking about?" he asked, smiling a very fangy grin. Bless him, he was so pleased with himself.
I shrugged and kissed his chin affectionately. "Just about how lucky I am to have such a loving, kind, funny boyfriend," I admitted. "What are you thinking about?"
"You and your beautiful body. You're not perfect but you're completely perfect for me."
"You got that from one of those mobile screensaver adverts, didn't you," I teased, nuzzling his wrist as he ran his long, elegant fingers through my hair, getting to off my face. "You are so sexy."
"So are you," he mumured, giving my throat a long, shivery lick before biting down for an instant. "I could lay here, just holding you, for the rest of time and I would be the happiest vampire in history."
"Are there many historical vampires - real ones?" I asked.
He nodded. "Lots. Achillies was one of the first. So was Helen of Roy. Um, William the Conquerer's wife, the real King Arthur, Catherine Parr, Da Vinci and Martin Luther King Junior are the major ones."
"Were there more?"
"No, not many. We usually congregate in specially pwned clubs like Bite and the Bloody Rose. Its like a hotspot for vampire activity. London and New York are the two cities our kind prefer because they are so diverse and different. London especially. A lot of us like different flavours and cultures. Its in the blood and the taste often depends on what they have eaten."
"I don't think I could do tha to anyone but you," I muttered. "You taste so damn good and there are so many different flavours alongside your own. Do I always have to feed from humans?"
"You can live off of my blood because I am your sire. But you can also feed from humans. Mostly, we do not kill those from whom we feed. If you want to feed from me, I won't stop you because I love you and I would give my life for you. I love the fact that I would be the one who could sustain you and your beautiful personality, Cassandra," he growled.
I smiled and snguggled myself closer to him. "I love you, Kiki."
"I love you, too, Cass. More than you know," he replied, kissing my neck gently.
I was the luckiest girl in the world.
