Where On Earth Do You Think You're Going?Mature

Angie set her alarm for 7:00am so she could get up and wake Janna and Suzanna up early. When her alarm went off, she grabbed one of her pillows and headed downstairs. When she got down there, Janna and Suzanna were awake! They got up earlier than Angie thought. Upset, Angie turned around and began walking upstairs when she heard, “Angalicious!” Suzanna saw her!

Hey, guys I just got up for an early morning pee. I heard noises downstairs and come to find out, it was just you guys. I’m just going to go back to bed,” Angie ran up the stairs and went into her room. She closed her door softly and ran and jumped onto her bed. She put her head under her pillow. She didn’t hear any noises, so she decided to take her pillow off her. As soon as she did so she noticed that… no one was in the room with her. She was very happy that her cousins didn’t follow her. She heard someone outside of her door, when she saw the door handle move she put her head back under her pillow. Her door creaked opened.

“Hello?” she heard a voice say. “Angie, you awake?”

She took the pillow off of her head, “Oh, it’s you. I thought you were Janna or Suzanna!” she said.

“Yeah, no,” Lukas said.

“So what’s up?”

“Not too much. I’m really bored. I’m used to getting up early because of the twins, so I’ve been awake for awhile.”

“How long is a while?”

“An hour and a half.”

“Oh, my! You got up at 5:30? You’re crazy!”

“Well, my sisters usually get up at like 6:00 and I usually go to bed at 10:00. And they go to bed at 8:30… by choice, sadly.”

“You have a bed time?  What a loser!”

“That’s mean!”

“I’m just kidding! Besides, I just got my bedtime lifted since I became a high school girl.”

“Oh, yeah, I forgot you’re in high school now!”

“Yes, I am.”

“Are there any senior guys you like?”

“Ha, there is!”

“Well, not a senior.”

“Junior?” Angie shook her head yes. “Oh, it is? I bet Alex ain’t too happy about that, huh?”

“That’s what we had a fight about.”

The door handle on Angie’s door began to turn. Angie and Lukas both stared at it hoping it wasn’t Janna or Suzanna. When Alex poked his head in, they were both kind of relieved.

“Hey, I heard you guys giggling, and since Lukas wasn’t in my room, I figured he was who was in here,” Alex said.

“Yeah, aren’t you surprised that it’s not some random guy from the street?” Angie joked.

“You’re not funny,” Alex said.

“I’m not kidding. I mean, that is what sluts do.”

“You told me to go to…”

“That’s because you called me a slut, Alex! You know what; I’m not going to fight with you. Get out. Just get out of my room!”

“Angie, you shouldn’t kick him out. He didn’t bring it up, you kind of did,” Lukas had a good point.

“You know what, you don’t even know. You are twelve!” Angie was so upset.

“So what I’m twelve? I’m going to graduate before you. I’ve been through a lot for my age. And you did bring it up!” Lukas was trying hard not to yell. He hates when people use his age against him. He is a sophomore in high school. He skipped 3rd, 6th and 7th grade.

“Listen here, kid. I don’t care if you graduate before me. I want to drop out of school, but I’m not eighteen yet.”

“Why would you want to drop out of school?”

“Lukas, just get out.”

“Fine, I will.” Lukas and Alex went back into Alex’s room. They were quiet so they wouldn’t wake anybody up. But that plan didn’t work out so well.

Aaron got up and went into Angie’s room, “What is going on?”

“Nothing, the boys just came in here for a little bit, but now they are back in Alex’s room,” Angie explained to her father.

“Okay, I will go in there and see what’s going on then.” Aaron walked down the hall to Alex’s room. “What are you guys doing?”

“Well, Lukas went into Angie’s room pretty early this morning,” Alex began.

“And then she asked me what was up, I said nothing much. She called me a loser, told me why Alex called her a slut, then Alex came in the room,” Lukas finished.

“What did she say?” Alex asked.

“What I’m thinking is the truth.”

“What do you know? You’re twelve!”

“And if I pass tenth grade with straight A’s, I’m skipping eleventh, and will graduate with you. And I will only be fourteen.”

“So now you’re calling me stupid?”

“No, I’m just saying I’m smarter than you.”

“Um… no, we are equally smart.”

“Oh, well, did you pass ninth grade with straight A’s at age eleven?” Lukas asked, “Let me rephrase that, did you pass ninth grade with straight A’s at all?”

“Boys, stop it. And Alex, we know a good punishment for you,” Aaron told his son.

“Well, will that punishment be lifted if Angie did something worse than me?” Alex asked.

“Like what?”

“Well, she was meaner to me than I was to her, but she can’t deny it if I have living breathing proof, right?”

“No, Alex, I guess she can’t, but what did she do?"

“Before I say that, I want Mom, Angie and Andrew present.”

“I’ll get them, but this better be good.” Aaron went into Andrew’s room and told him to go to Alex’s room. Then he got Angie from her room. Then he went all the way downstairs to get Allison.

“What is this about?” Angie asked.

“I’m turning you in for what you said and did to me,” Alex answered.

“What? Why? I didn’t do anything wrong. I was just defending myself! Andrew you know that you were there.”

“That’s also why I had him come in here. He’s going to back me up.”

“I doubt it; he’s going to back up his twin sister. That’s what he’s going to do, right?” they both looked over at Andrew.

Before Andrew could answer, Aaron and Allison came, “Okay, so what is going on now?” Allison asked.

“In front of the whole lunchroom, Angie smacked me across the face and told me to go to… well South, the Deep South. Like, H-E-L-L,” Alex spelt, “And you can even ask Andrew, he was there. Tell them Andrew,” Alex looked over at Andrew.

“I saw nothing. And I heard nothing,” Andrew said and he walked right out of Alex’ room.

“Was this before or after you call your sister a slut?” Aaron asked.

“Well, after. And I didn’t directly call her a slut,” Alex began, “She was hanging out with Derek.”

“Derek as in the boy who gave you that black eye?” Allison asked.

“Yeah, that Derek. And I told her he was no good, she just wouldn’t listen to me. Then I said there is only one thing a sixteen year old wants with a fourteen year old. And then I said do you want to be known as the school slut,” Alex looked over at Angie. “I was trying to protect you, Angie. You’re my little sister, I don’t want you to get hurt.”

“Well, too late,” Angie said and she walked out of Alex’s room.

“Where are you going?” Allison asked as Angie headed down the stairs. Allison followed Angie until Angie opened the front door. “I said where are you going?”

“I don’t know!” Angie said as she turned around and looked at her mother.

“Then why are you opening the door?”

“Nobody here wants me here, Mom.”

“I want you here, Angalicious,” Suzanna butted in.

“Shut up!” Angie yelled.

“Who said nobody wants you here?” Allison asked.

“Well, Alex doesn’t want me here, and neither does Andrew, Dad or even you!” Angie ran out the front door slamming it behind her.

Allison walked over to the front door and opened it, “Angela Katelyn, where on Earth do you think you’re going?”

The End
