When I was a little girl

Recommend

When I was just a little girl
and you a younger man
messing up my knotty curls
with your working hands

When I was just a little girl
I didn't clearly see
that tousling up my curly mop
was a bond for you and me

When I was just a little girl
I couldn't have forseen
That all the noogies that you gave
and what they come to mean

I am a grown woman now
and you and older man
and if you ruffled up my hair
I would completely understand.
