admit

I admit all my wrongness

My errors, my faults

I’m the first one to point

To my niggling doubts

I never would be

A detractor, except

When it comes to my own life

I have to accept

That it’s me who’s to blame

For the mess we are in

And I’m sorry to say

That I have to give in

So, humble apologies

Flow from my lips

All downturned and trembling

Your thoughts they eclipse.
