Just Another DayMature

The goal of this story is simply to get people involved and have some fun. Write 2-3 paragraphs, then end your page with a single, "What if---?" statement. My favorite writing prompt :) The next author will build upon that "what if" scenario, etc., etc..

Susan poured her third cup of coffee, and, still in her fuzzy pajamas, carried it over to the window. She cast a baleful gaze at the threatening gray sky and replayed the forecast in her mind. Six more inches of snow? Really?!

Last week's drifts had yet to melt entirely, although where they had been five feet high in places, there were now icy mounds of dirty slush and frigid puddles. She turned away from the window, hating the sight of it. The roads were clear, but she didn't feel like going to the grocery store, the bank, or running any of the other errands that needed to be done. She just didn't feel like doing anything at all.

What if she would never see snow again?
