Weather for Spies

Moving stealthily through the tunnel, Agent SFX held his gun high, by his ear, and looked around warily for enemies.  Hearing a faint noise, he flattened his body against the cold wall of the tunnel.

He stayed in the same position, his body poised, every nerve stretched, straining to hear the tiniest sounds.  No sound came.  He inched carefully around the corner of the wall, and in one smooth movement, swung out into the tunnel, gun pointed straight ahead.

At that moment the air exploded into a cacophony of gunfire.  Machine guns rattled, spitting bullets all around him...
