Oh, too be young and have your whole life still ahead of you, I have a few things to make light of to help you make decisions. Knowing the consequences that I have endured in the situations that I have gone through I'm writing you this for a couple of reasons. First, I’ve always wanted to give you the best life possible, and I know hurting without knowing why you're hurting or why it happened to you is one of the hardest things to go through. Second, I think this is a good way to connect with you on a personal level. I'm going to be telling you about situations that I’ve been through, how they came about and how it affected me. I want you to experience these things, because what I am about to tell you shaped me into the person I am today, and even though I’ve been through these things and have hurt the way I have, I regret none of them. If they hadn't happened, you might not be here today, and I wouldn't trade that. Not even if i could go back and redo my life without all the pain and hard times. My child, this is the best way I could think of doing this, long before you came into this world, and while the memories are still vivid in my mind.

This is a story where you write a letter to a child that you will have in the future. In it you detail past experiences; how the situation came about, what happened, how it made you feel, and how the event ended and how you dealt with it affter and during.

A fun little excercise but remember these can be instances that were either good or bad, but ultimately have to be true and personal.
