I have to do something about this. Came an anonymous voice from the deep nothingness of space. I have to go down there.
Very patiently, she fashioned a woman and a man. She waited until they were ready and enterd the woman uttering a prayer as she went;
When I turn sixteen I shall remember. When I turn sixteen I shall gain my powers. When I turn sixteen I will begin to save this planet. On my sixteenth birthday I shall begin to save planet Earth.
Pearl Fortunes could not sleep. It was her sixteenth birthday tomorrow. She was turning sixteen and it was going to be so much fun! She was going to have a sleepover with all her friends and play truth or dare in the woods at the back of the house. It was going to be so much fun.
After many hours of tossing and turning in excitement, Pearl Fortunes fell asleep and dreamt.
