I swear it was him. It was his voice. I'd recognise it anywhere, and besides I haven't spoken to the rest of the group for a long time.  Why would they mess me around now? Why not last year when everything happened?

I know you had to leave. I should have done the same thing, but I guess it's too late now. I'm sorry I didn't email you sooner. I meant to, but I lost your address and only found it the other day.

OK, that's a lie. I had your address, I just didn't know what I would say to you. I didn't even know if you wanted me to email you. If I was you I wouldn't want to speak to me ever again.
