Chapter Two - Page Two.

“Prince Ren, what on earth are you doing in that fountain?” The Prince opens his eyes, confused about the lack of the Lady Nova from his arms. Captain Lucian Ash smiles in a cheeky manner, leaning against a nearby tree with his arms crossed as he watches Ren slowly get to his feet, water thickly dripping from his clothes. Unknown to Ren, after leaving his bedchamber, Lucian entered to see how the Prince was coping with the new guests staying within the castles walls. As soon as he saw that the bed was empty, Lucian ordered his men to search for him, not wanting the Prince to be on another one of his solo missions after the mysterious arsonist without telling anyone. Finding the Prince so soon, and all in one piece, the Captain relaxes inside, glad that the next heir to the Lunar Village Empire is safe and accounted for.

Climbing out of the fountain, the Prince scans for the strange white haired Lady Nova whom is nowhere in sight. “I fancied a stroll and ended up in the fountain.” The Prince shrugs to the Captain, trying to make his actions neutral but Lucian just rolls his eyes. Instead of pushing the Prince into telling, Captain Lucian Ash laughs loudly, moving away from the tree he was leaning against. “Those new faces are rather strange aren’t they?” He scratches his chin as if in deep thought. “Could be a custom thing. Where was it that you said they were from?”

Rubbing his eyes, drowsiness begins to call sweetly to the Prince. “I am not entirely sure. They were at the site of the last fire attack, seeming to appear out of thin air. Not even Thunder Star noticed their arrival.” The Captain nods slowly. “Apparently, they were meant to leave Lady Nova to stop whomever is creating said fires via a solo mission, but the others followed.” Lucian laughs, shaking his head as he leads the Prince back into the castle, both of them throwing their arms over each other’s shoulder. “She sounds like someone else I know, your highness.”

After walking the Prince to his chambers, the Captain wanders around through the city.  Lucian’s thoughts turn to the Lunar Village’s mysterious guests, knowing that he will find out exactly what they are planning to do, and if the Captain deems them to be a threat, then Lucian must follow his duty and eradicate the situation. Even if Captain Lucian loves to make Vi turn a deep scarlet with just a single look.
