Veritatem - meaning "the truth" is the documented creation story of Maegard (the Bible of my universe) recorded by the Muse, Clio. Comprised of six parts, it details the birth and destruction of the ten gods of the elements, whose descendants are said to be the reigning Elemental families. However, it is believed that some of Parts IV and V have been withheld by the High Council of Caduceus...

INTRODUCTORY NOTES:

 

  • The story presented is common knowledge to the magi and mystics of Maegard, even by those who do not believe it.
  • Though there are some minorities (the people of Rhil) most believe that the Elemental polyarchy is descended from the gods.
  • And finally, in The Element Adventures, the presented version (with missing parts IV and V) is the same version in the saga. Not even the monarchy are aware what is on the missing pages, but all will be revealed...eventually.
